PARIS RIVERFRONT
DOKVARY HOUSE is our brand new gathering and experiential place in Paris with a curated shop, the Thaï/Lao restaurant BAANBECK, but also our design studio where we develop creative concepts and objets. A new place in the city where design, art and food come together. Nestled directly on the bank of the Seine, at the confluence of two piers, Port de l’Arsenal and Port Henri IV, DOKVARY HOUSE is slightly setback from the vibrant Place de la Bastille which makes our space more relaxing and cool as a break moment in the city of light.
ART
Art has a main role. Varasy, DOKVARY’s Creative Director, collaborates with several artists. DOKVARY HOUSE introduces a beautiful balance between the traditional Thai craft and contemporary design. Welcoming anyone interested by art, design and food with a great attention to details, this brings us to organise happenings, like live paintings, photography exhibitions or conversation with artists.
DESIGN
From the floor, with natural stone, to the ceiling, with exotic wood, the highest quality materials were sourced in Asia and locally whenever possible to maintain a sense of Thaï culture and our identity within our interiors. Poised between two marinas, DOKVARY HOUSE is designed as a riverside villa from the Thaï islands. By way of anecdote, we are located on what was previously the third island of Paris, Ile Louviers – it has since disappeared.

FOOD – EAT, DRINK AND LOVE
BAANBECK, our brand new food and entertainment project for adventurous people seeking an exotic culinary experience. Our creative culinary team reinterprets the flavors of the authentic Issan cuisine from Thaïland and Laos to present timeless recipes with a present-day twist.
